The Home Page

Most of you don’t visit the home page of my blog, which is understandable since most of views come from posts published on facebook. However, I’d like you to take a look at my homepage for a second, as you may notice I have updated it. I’ve also changed the name of my blog.

You’ll see two images. One is the Canadian flag, which is there obviously because I am Canadian. However I also have an emblem there that I created. I’ll now explain the meanings of the emblem and the new blog name.

The shield represents those you love and how they should be protected at all costs. The sun in the middle is white, while its surroundings are black. To me, this represents yin and yang; how there will always be some evil in good, and some good in evil. To me, it also means that there will always be a bit of hope, no matter how hard the situation. You just have to find it. Finally, the multiple spokes around the sun indicate to me the flow of thoughts and how one should be thinking in many directions, rather than being biased or closed-minded. I created my emblem using an emblem creator, which can be found on the “Useful Links” section of the sidebar or by clicking here.

As for my new blog name…It’s kinda hard to explain. To me, it is simply that everything in the world is connected. All the material objects, emotions, feelings, etc. all make up our world. And since all these things make up our world, they will always be connected in large, small, and tiny ways. Evil deeds done somewhere may have consequences elsewhere. And thus, the “everything” would be the harmony, which creates the melody which is our world as a whole. Kinda hard to understand right? Sorry, my explaining isn’t very good.

So that’s all for now folks. Ciao!
